Facts about UX Designs

=> people now use mobile site, more and more

Fact#2: 88% online consumers are less likely to return to a site after a bad experience. (Source: Econsultancy.com)
=> In simple words, User-centered design (UCD) is a design which is developed focusing on the needs, wants and limitations of the end users. This idea of UCD has grown out of 'humanism' which can be traced to ancient Greece and the early Christians, who came to value the differences between individuals.
Fact#3: 48% people consider a website’s design as the number one factor in deciding the credibility of a business. (Source: Truconversion.com)
=> The Potential of Layered Flat Design - Of late, designers as well as customers have started preferring flat designs that are simple, clean, colorful and modern. Because of the simple design, being user-friendly and responsive, a flat design lends itself beautifully to any type of use – whether mobile or desktop.

Fact#4: 94% of a user’s first impressions are design-related. (Source: conversionxl.com)

=> Content-focused Design Is the New Oprah - With startups and businesses noticing a surge in their site traffic by simply using a content-focused approach, this trend will make a wave in the UX design industry in 2016. Instead of going the conventional way of designing the website and first and then fitting in content into it, you can try a content-focused design. You can write the content first using the data base of your customers, according to their tastes and needs and later design your site and see the perfect way of displaying all content you have.

Fact#6: 79% of people scan read, rather than read every single word. (Source: koozai.com)
=> Enigma of Design Storytelling - Creating content and posting it online is no longer enough. Did you know?
Fact#7: 84% of 25-34 year-olds have left a favorite website because of intrusive or irrelevant advertising. (Hubspot.com)
=> User Behavior will Rule Responsive - Having responsive designs is no doubt the priority of the designers. However, this year, we predict that there will be a change in how user behavior will affect responsiveness. Imagine a technology that gets to know about a user the way he uses the site, the way app do, and customize itself accordingly.

    Seelio

Unlike some other online portfolios sites, what makes Seelio different is that it also includes a network that connects employers with the students directly – like a job search site for emerging talent. Given the hiring crunch in the tech industry specifically, Seelio could help employers find young grads to fill open positions – something that’s hard to do on traditional job search sites which emphasize real-world work experience.

Hiree - What interesting about this platform is that it's all about the users:

You can see that it's all around the users: Profile, Message, even the newsfeed has minimized to focus on the users. So what can user do in this:

    - They can view jobs available that match their skiills in "All jobs"

    - Users can see which jobs they have applied, which jobs they searched, even read news or tips.

    - What makes it special is about how they design their users' profile.

    - My impression was like: Wow, they do it just for me. They even utilize the app for "selfie resume" (one way to promote the app).

Build your brand to build your bands.

Many successful brands out there are all have a common secret: The Owner's Brand Name. For instance: Apple: Steve Jobs - Virgin: Richard Branson - Microsoft: Bill Gates...

These owners indeed, have 1 common habits: Brilliant Public Speaking. And fortunately, technology, or ay i say: Social Media is one outstanding way to spread your words and wisdoms to the world. ( now i see it's easier to be famous actually!!!) But please, never ignore face to face meetings - it's the fastest ways to get internal connection beyond all.

And why we should consider to do more public speaking as a strategy to build your brand and brands:

    1/ Fastest attention catching method:

For a 60 minutes networking event for 100 people, how many conversation you could probably have? 5, or 10 small talks. It's a shame to ignore these 90 people ( who could probably be one potential investor to your business)
Now with just one presentation, you can reach to 100 people at 1 time. And if you're good enough, half of them will stick to your words!

And yes, effective marketing a no cost, public speaking is a way to go!

    2/ It's priceless research:

Sick of surveys with no reply? This is the chance to reach to your audience and get immediate feedbacks!

By what? Questions, Answers and Questions, Answers and repeat! Most of us would not notice that, questions in seminar events may reflect concerns of users as crystal.

    3/ Confidence building:

Some people may say it's hard to do public speaking, or they are not born for this, or they are the "back-stage" person. It's not true at all!

Practice, practice, practice makes triple perfect! And when you're the master at the stage, the charming you have in one on one talks is undeniable. ( Even in relationship things)

    4/ Gateway to giants:

Starting from the bottom with 50 people, try to dominant these people, take your steps further to 100 people and so on. You can never imagine the power of words-of-mouth.

More people in your speak, more references you can get. Imagine you're speaking for 1000 people, each of them have 1 relationship you need. Mind-blown right!
